Coron, Palawan holiday - August 16 - 19, 2009

A lot of firsts happened for us in this vacation:
1. Our first getaway outside the main island of Luzon.
2. The first time we traveled together by air.
3. The first time we were left by our plane because we arrived late at the airport.
4. My baby's first time to drive a motorized boat to take us from one island to another together with other tourists.
5. Our first (and second) chance to take a dip together at a natural hot spring.

Regarding the 3rd item, we were supposed to depart from Manila a day before (August 15), but we did not arrive on time and unfortunately for us, Cebu Pacific uncharacteristically left Manila on time! Good thing we were able to book another flight (this time, PAL Express) for the next day, and somehow luck was still on our side because we saved our complimentary overnight stay at Stone House in QC, so we spent the night there. This time, we didn't miss the plane and arrived at Busuanga Airport as scheduled en route to Coron town.

The problems we encountered did not spoil the overall vacation at all. It was a fantastic adventure and a memorable journey to a small town blessed with island jewels, picturesque sunsets, and friendly people. We hope we can go back there again.

I'm missing my baby again :( Oh well, just 97 days to go before our big day. It's not that long :)
